Key resources

There are a number of support services for you as you study online.

General IT help

Information Technology (IT) provides a number of services for students e.g. help with student email accounts, information about Student Connect, availability of computer labs on campus.

Library

The Library supports online students by delivering online access to extensive and relevant information resources.

The Library web page is a great place to start, including our off-campus help. Databases and eJournals provide you with online access to resources including databases (where you'll find journal articles), encyclopedias, images, news, statistics and our growing collection of ebooks. If you want to borrow books, DVDs and other items you'll need to search the library catalogue.

And if you need help:

Academic Skills Unit

The Academic Skills Unit provides a range of services and resources to support students to develop their learning skills and strategies to achieve academic success. Regular free workshops are held addressing particular skills such as assignment writing, avoiding plagiarism and academic referencing. For online students, the easiest way to contact an Academic Skills Adviser is through Ask an Adviser or Contact Us.
