Informing ACU about your disability
When should I tell ACU that I have a disability?
You should tell us as early as possible. The sooner you tell us the sooner we can plan for your needs. To do this you should
- Indicate that you have a disability, preferably when you apply, but if not, when you enrol. Information about your disability is treated in confidence.
- Contact a Disability Adviser as early as possible, preferably before the semester begins.
If you acquire a disability during your studies, or if a condition that you weren't expecting to cause you problems worsens, remember that you can contact a Disability Adviser at any time during the semester. Note: The University will require you to provide documentation from an appropriate professional to the Disability Adviser if you expect that you will need adjustments because of your disability.
