Informing ACU about your disability

When should I tell ACU that I have a disability?

You should tell us as early as possible. The sooner you tell us the sooner we can plan for your needs. To do this you should

  1. Indicate that you have a disability, preferably when you apply, but if not, when you enrol. Information about your disability is treated in confidence.
  2. Contact a Disability Adviser as early as possible, preferably before the semester begins.

If you acquire a disability during your studies, or if a condition that you weren't expecting to cause you problems worsens, remember that you can contact a Disability Adviser at any time during the semester. Note: The University will require you to provide documentation from an appropriate professional to the Disability Adviser if you expect that you will need adjustments because of your disability.
