Deferring Exams
Not able to sit your exam due to personal issues?
Within five working days of the exam date (before or after), submit an application for deferred exam/s with one or more of the following supporting documents:
- Medical certificate;
- If you are already seeing an ACU counsellor, documentation from an ACU counsellor;
- Documentation from another health professional;
- Statutory Declaration completed by yourself, explain your own circumstances on the appropriate Statutory Declaration form, have it appropriately witnessed and attach to your extension request. Remember it is important for you to include a description of your circumstances, their impact and duration.
IMPORTANT: You do not need to speak to a counsellor unless you would like counselling support.

During busy periods of the semester you may have to wait up to a week to get an appointment with a counsellor.
