Academic Regulations

What if I don't hand an assignment in on time?

A key responsibility for students is to submit assessment tasks for marking on or before the due dates given in Unit Outlines.

Academic Regulations explain:

  • Applying for an extension if personal circumstances prevent you from submitting assessment tasks on the due date
  • Penalties for late submission of asessment tasks.

Every Unit Outline has a link to the ACU policies on assessment.

The complete Academic Regulations are in Handbook 2012; see the Academic Honesty Policy and Assessment Policy and Assessment Procedures in Policies and Procedures.

Any requests for extensions of time need to be submitted before the due date for the assessment task. See the form Application for Extension.

How do I find out about getting credit for previous study or transferring to a different course at ACU?

The Academic Regulations explain Credit for Previous Study or Learning and Transfer between Courses at ACU.

Academic Regulations are in Handbook 2012.

See Student Forms. If you have any queries, contact the Student Centre.
